Nordic Health Partner is an approved provider of Occupational Health Services by the Norwegian Labor Inspectorate. We cover the fields of Occupational Medicine, Industrial Hygiene, Ergonomy, Psycho-Social & Organisational support through our numerous and professional experts within each area.
The occupational health service shall offer health monitoring when the work situation warrants it. Our health surveillance programs monitor employees’ health in relation to workplace exposures such as noise, chemicals, and ergonomics. This includes, among other things, exposure evaluation, occupational health interviews in groups or individually, targeted health checks, certification for occupation, reporting obligations, referral to occupational health assessment, reports to NAV and the Norwegian Labour Inspection Authority.
The Working Environment Act sets requirements for health examinations, health checks and health certification for individual exposures and occupations. In addition, health checks are considered control measures under the Working Environment Act.
Nordic Health Partner delivers sickness absence management thus assisting companies in reducing absenteeism through preventive measures and individual follow-up. This involves assisting with prevention and follow-up at the individual and organisational level, including conducting surveys in the organisation, proposing preventive and health-promoting organisational measures, and assisting in individual follow-up and facilitation.
In addition, we assist with the preparation of policies and guidelines, testing (control measures), individual follow-up and management guidance in terms of substance abuse (incl. AKAN) and other addiction.
Nordic Health Partner also assists with Occupational vaccinations, minor injuries/illness, or referral to your own doctor, specialists or occupational medicine departments.
